The Monstera Aurea is amongst the rarest and most highly sought after plants on the market. Like with many rare plants, this monstera is special as it is much harder to propagate and takes longer to grow compared to the standard Monstera.

Light

The white portion of the variegated monstera cannot absorb light, so the plant needs to work twice as hard. Low light conditions are therefore not ideal and you should keep the plant in bright ambient light to make it happy.

Water

Keep the soil relatively moist but allow times to dry out in between watering. They can be sensitive to overwatering, so avoid sitting in soggy soil.

Feeding

Once per month from March-September with a liquid houseplant food.
